Jake Lewys, a follower of God, was born and raised South of the Atlanta, Georgia area. He grew up with a love for art and music, and started studying graphic design when he was just 13 years old. This experience put him a step ahead in the tattoo game and helped him excel in designing custom tattoos from scratch; which led to quick growth in his career. Jake started tattooing around eight years ago and fell in love with the journey from the start!
When he's not tattooing or designing, he's probably outdoors in nature as he loves to hunt, fish, and hike. If it's the weekend he's probably in the mountains or a tree stand. This love of nature is often integrated into his work and has contributed to his highly accurate application of realism in his art.
Jake is a private traveling tattoo artist based in Upstate South Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia; often traveling to other major cities. He specializes in large scale, high contrast, fully custom black and grey realism tattoos, focusing on full day and multi-day projects. Every project is handcrafted from scratch, meaning sessions are limited—and only intended for those seeking more than just a tattoo. This is art for collectors. Jake takes pride in the time he spends with each client to perfect their vision and ensure the final work matches their personal journey. Over the years, Jake has worked with a number of influential figures and celebrities across a vast amount of industries. Some notable figures include Ayo & Teo, Yung Faygo, Young Scooter and family, Euro Gotit, 4PF, and many collegiate and professional athletes across the nation. Jake grew up skateboarding and enjoys staying close to the skate community working with select shops and events across America.

Jake accepts extremely limited bookings to ensure that he fulfills his passion for creating pieces that authentically tell his clients’ stories. Scheduling is done exclusively by full day and multi day projects. Jake usually only accepts around 4-8 bookings per month. Because he specializes in such large-scale, high contrast black and grey realism, these full day session-type projects will be prioritized to match his workflow.
Please try to be as descriptive as possible with your inquiry; only a limited number of these custom made artworks can fit into the schedule due to the amount of time that goes into each piece.
